False Ceiling
A false ceiling is a secondary ceiling that is made of different materials. It is constructed to add a layer below the actual ceiling and has functional and aesthetic benefits. Types of false ceiling materials are PVC, gypsum ceilings, POP (Plaster of Paris), wood and more. One of the risks associated with false ceilings is the possibility of them falling down. This can happen for a number of reasons, but most often it is due to poor workmanship. If the structure of the false ceiling is not properly stabilized, it can become unstable and eventually collapse.
